Before you start
- An Attio account with permission to authorize app access to the workspace and deal/company records you want to analyze.
- A Data Weaver workspace and selected client where you have permission to manage sources. Keep the Attio workspace and client context aligned.
Set up the connection
- Select the client in Data Weaver, open Sources and choose the Attio connection.
- You will be taken to Attio to sign in, choose the relevant workspace and review the requested read access before authorizing Data Weaver.
- After authorization, review the discovered objects and lists, explicitly select datasets, and configure the company and deal field mappings for that client. Selecting none syncs none.
- Save setup, run Sync and check record coverage before asking read-only questions about authorized companies and the pipeline.
Permissions requested
- Authorization is used to read authorized workspace metadata, objects, lists, attributes and records. Review the permissions shown by Attio before approving access.
- The integration is read-only: it analyzes authorized CRM evidence rather than creating records, editing deals, changing stages or sending outreach. Provider approval and your workspace grant must be present.
Data read and actions performed
- Selected company and deal objects or list entries become scoped current-state CRM evidence, using reviewed mappings for names, stages, outcomes, values, currencies and lead types.
- Only accessible selected datasets are retrieved. Unmapped or missing fields remain unavailable rather than being guessed; company visibility does not require a separate contact import.
Refresh and sync
- Manual Sync and scheduled refresh retrieve selected CRM datasets in bounded pages. Large datasets can take multiple runs; inspect refresh progress and timestamps.
- Check the evidence timestamp and record coverage when comparing pipeline changes; do not infer earlier pipeline states from current records alone.
Limitations
- CRM editing, outreach and record creation are outside this read-only workflow. CRM evidence is available in Ask, not marketing presentations.
- Analysis depends on accessible records, reviewed mappings and data quality. Current deal values and stages do not establish a complete history of pipeline changes.
Troubleshooting
- During authorization, check that you are signed into the intended Attio account and have permission to authorize the relevant workspace.
- If expected companies or deals are missing from the intended analysis, check workspace choice, record access and the client context. Contact support for connection help; do not send credentials through chat or support messages.
Disconnect and delete
- Remove the Attio connection from Data Weaver Sources to stop further reads and initiate remote connection cleanup.
- Manage or revoke the app's grant separately in Attio's app or workspace settings. Provider-side grant removal and deletion of retained Data Weaver answers are separate actions; use Data deletion for retained application data.
