Facebook Pages

Examine organic activity for selected Facebook Pages, separately from paid advertising.

Before you start

  • A Facebook identity authorized to the intended Pages and Data Weaver source-management permission.
  • Choose the Pages you want to analyze and check that your Facebook identity has permission to read their insights.

Set up the connection

  1. Connect Facebook Pages from the target client's Sources and review Meta consent.
  2. Explicitly select Pages to sync and save. Selecting none syncs none.
  3. Run Sync and inspect coverage and readiness before comparing dates.

Permissions requested

  • Page access is used to discover authorized Pages and read available insights and post evidence. The connector does not publish, edit or delete posts.
  • Review Meta's authorization screen and approve Page access using the Facebook identity that manages the Pages you want to connect. Select the Pages for Data Weaver after returning to Sources.

Data read and actions performed

  • The connector reads available daily Page insight observations, including reach/impression and engagement measures where returned by Meta, plus Page identity/fan-count discovery.
  • Supported scoped questions can request top posts and follower observations. Missing provider observations are not evidence of zero activity.

Refresh and sync

  • Default refresh is hourly; manual Sync is available. Provider metric availability, reporting delays and quotas affect coverage.

Limitations

  • Organic Page data is not a paid Ads report. Provider-deprecated or unavailable metrics may leave gaps.
  • Follower trends need actual dated observations across every selected Page; a current fan count does not prove historical growth. Complete history is not guaranteed.

Troubleshooting

  • Check Page roles and the Facebook identity if Pages are missing, then revisit saved selection.
  • Inspect sync history and date coverage for empty results. Reconnect for lost authorization rather than treating every missing metric as a consent failure.

Disconnect and delete

  • Remove the Data Weaver connection to stop future use and initiate remote cleanup.
  • Revoke the app separately in Meta Business Integrations/app settings if you want provider-wide removal. Disconnect is not a blanket erasure of past answers; use Data deletion for retained data.
